...Huh.

Not sure how I feel about this. No combat, no locked doors, gimmicky Wiimote controls... and it's more of a "reimagining" than a straight up remake. I wish we were getting one more along the lines of REmake, but eh.

My own cluelessness astounds even myself sometimes. It's a good thing I didn't get too far, or else I would be seriously upset.

Okay, so I just realized that I am massively gay for the camera angles in Silent Hill. Even when they're focusing on some unimportant part of the room when the impossible nightmarish monstrosity in front of me is politely doing its best to rip my face off in an orgy of violence.

I... I think that's when I love them the most.

I got to play Silent Hill for a little bit today. It hasn't been too bad so far, but that's because I've played through a lot of this before and I've seen parts of the Let's Play videos for this, so I kinda knew what to expect.

For about the first hour or so, at least. After that, I was totally fair game.

This whole week I was psyching myself up to play Silent Hill when I got home. "It's just a video game! It won't be as bad as you think! You beat Resident Evil 4 -- this will be just like that, but much more horrible and terrifying!"

Then I come home and can't find the game disc.

And somehow that scares me more than it should.
